Our Process
CHCI is here to support you througout your journey. We are Irelands ONLY provider of this bespoke service and the offering can be tailored towards your needs.
Stage 1 - Initial Enquiry
Let us know via email, phone call or enquiry form what your requirements are and we can advise what we can offer and whether you require our support.
Stage 2 - Fact Gathering
In order to proceed and depending on your requirements we will need to gather all information such as income, assets, specific nursing home requirements etc. We will advise what information we require in order to proceed.
Stage 3 - Consultation
Based on the information received we will then have a consultation meeting which can be in person or online. The meeting usually takes one hour and during the meeting we will have calculated your Fair Deal contribution based on the information you have provided. We can also clarify your requirements in regards to your desired nursing home and any other specific requirements.
Stage 4 - Gather Information for Fair Deal
If you have requested us to complete the Fair Deal process for you we will require all relevant information and documents such as bank statements, asset valuations etc. Anything that is required will be communicated to you so it is clear what is required.
Stage 5 - Apply for Fair Deal
Optional: We will complete the application form and send all information to the Fair Deal Department on your behalf.
Stage 6 - Selection of Nursing Homes
We will shortlist Nursing Homes best suited to your requirements.
This may include the following information:
- Additional Nursing Home Charges
- Summary of Health & Safety Reports (HIQA)
- Location
- History of Nursing Home
- Room Type
- Other Specific requirements
Stage 7 - Report
We will prepare a final report which will include some of the following:
- Fair Deal Calculations
- Taxation Advice
- Selction of Nursing Homes detailing specific findings
This report will be 100% impartial and fact based.
